Jeffrey D. Kirk

Jeffrey D. Kirk is a trial lawyer, specializing in real estate and business litigation. Mr. Kirk joined Mehlman TerBeek LLP in July of 2006. Mr. Kirk graduated from Golden Gate Law School in 1983 with highest honors having achieved the Am Jur award (for distinguished academic achievement) in Civil Procedure, Torts and Creditors Remedies. Mr. Kirk worked for a number of small to mid-size law firms in San Francisco and the East Bay where he acquired substantial trial experience. He also had a stint as a solo practitioner for a number of years prior to joining the firm. Besides substantial trial experience, Mr. Kirk brings to the firm a focus on legal technology including litigation support software such as the CaseSoft suite of software programs (CaseMap®, TimeMap®, NoteMap®, DepPrep®) Livenote® (for depositions), as well as practice specific software. His philosophy is to help clients satisfactorily resolve their disputes at the lowest level and at the lowest practicable cost, not to foment more division/ disputes which enrich the lawyers but enervates the client. When necessary, however, he pursues litigation and post-judgment collection professionally and with vigor. He is honored and pleased to join a law firm which shares his philosophy and goals of premier client service.
